PPL Preserves
Easy hiking for Ranger Kids and Discovery Rangers, Historical, Nature Study etc.
At PPL, we've always been a part of the communities
where we do business. It's an attitude that's woven in to the fabric of
our business philosophy and in to the moral fiber of our people. We're
proud of the work we do to strengthen our communities, to preserve the
environment for future generations and to improve education. And, we're
proud of our employees who spend countless hours each year volunteering
to help those in need.
Caring for the environment is a responsibility we take very
seriously. We maintain thousands of acres of company-owned land for
your recreational and educational use. All our environmental preserves
share common goals: preserve the land, restore endangered species and
habitats, and provide a place for people to learn about and enjoy
nature's beauty. So, visit the PPL environmental preserves near our
generating facilities and explore the woods, fields and wetlands; or
attend one of our many educational outreach offerings for formal and
non-formal educators; or bring a class on a field trip. You'll see that
PPL is about "Caring for Community."
